Inkreadable helps people increase their English Language ability and unleash their inner author. Through creative writing, students will explore explore with their imagination and build self-confidence in a unique and motivating way. Creative writing offers real, positive outcomes: improved language skills including better grammar and increased vocabulary, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. A good knowledge of the English language is critical in today’s world, both personally and professionally

Its founder, Katerina Manousakis, is an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher and writer. With over 1000 hours of ESL teaching experience and nearly 1000 students, she brings experience and a love of the English language to her students in well designed classes that are easy to follow. In addition to ESL, she also ran two writing critique circles in the Washington, D.C. area, and now runs a writer’s group in Amsterdam as well.

The idea for Inkreadable originated in the summer of 2013 when Katerina was in Europe. There, she realised that the methods used in her critique groups worked as teaching tools for people of all ages who love to write. She began teaching creative writing courses to kids in 2014. In the Summer of 2016, she received her Certificate of English Language Teaching for Adults. She began teaching ESL soon after receiving the certificate. In April 2017 she moved to the Netherlands and brought her love of English and writing with her to Amsterdam. She hopes to create classes where people can explore the beauty of the English language and writing in a safe and supportive environment.
